Hanley Town are title contenders in the step seven Staffs County Senior League. They are usually up there with the front runners and have ambitions to install floodlights and improve the ground in the near future. Today’s game was only the second time this season they have dropped points.

  1. Also at the game, Newcastle getting the winner in the last minute. I hear that Hanley are to going to start work on installing floodlights at the end of the season. On another issue there is talk of Milton United back in saturday football at there Leek Rd ground next season.

  3. Yes possibly for 2012/13 season. Best way to describe Milton United’s ground is, because the entrance can be easily missed. Go along Leek Rd towards Milton just passed carmountside cemetry, just before Milton traffic lights/crossroads/Milton primary school. The entrance is between terrace houses on the right-hand side as you approach Milton traffic lights/crossroads. Other landmarks to look out for on the left facing the entrance to the ground,Barber’s shop, Chippy, Travellers Rest Pub. Don’t use the school entrance.

  4. Oh forgot to mention, old dressing rooms knocked down, but i hear new portakabin style ones have been bought. If you like to be close to the action this is the ground for you? Any closer you will be playing.
