  1. Never been the same since we left the Drill Field in 2002.
Admittedly neighbours Witton Albion helped us out for 3 years at Wincham Park and then (in 2005) we eventually moved into the Victoria Stadium, but this ground is really for League football (4th Division that is!)- so roomy that unless you have a crowd of 2,000+, there`s not much atmosphere- except perhaps if we played local rivals (Albion or Alty) in a meaningful tie.
Excellent views from either side alongside the pitch, but areas behind each goal are flat. Super corporate facilities etc, however, will never replace the drill Field as the non-league home of Vics.

  2. Yeah, great ground. Deserves to grace the football league.
They do need to do something behind them goals though.
