Excellent website. I can certainly empathise with many of your comments. Having spent many years following a league team and then a few seasons hopping, I have gone back to following my home team. Which, as it happens, is Leek Town.
Hi Ted,
Thanks for the comment. Is it just a coincidence that you are a Leek Town fan or did my site come up on a search for Leek?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to the derby cup clash tomorrow at Kidsgrove.
Thanks again.
David
Cannot remember exactly how I stumbled across this site, but I will certainly be keeping tabs on it as the season progresses. I shall also be at Kidsgrove tommorrow, which has the bonus of being a new ground for me as well a Leek away game. Hopefully Leek can get back on track after a some iffy performances in the last week.
Ted
Ted,
I’ve been to Kidsgrove once. It’s a really nice ground. It should be a cracking atmosphere. The kidsgrove following make a bit of noise too, so there might be some good banter.
David
Been anywhere lately? Looking foward to your next report. I struck 200 last week at Northampton Spencer of all places!
Hiya Ted,
I went to Winsford 2 weeks back to see Newcastle stretch their 100% record (only just) – they won 1-0. They’re now 14-0-0. I’ve been a bit too busy to do a write up. I’m hoping to go to Carlton Saturday and then maybe Wolverhampton Casuals on Tuesday!
Leek have been a bit poor recently, don’t you think? They could do with a good game Saturday.
David
Leek have had 2 good results in the trophy but now its time for league points to halt the slide down the table. I enjoyed the home game v Kendal on Saturday and will be at Carlton this week. Not expecting much – looks pretty basic no frills ground. Also tricky to find I believe. I was off work last week and did 6 games in 8 days so probably be laying off the midweekers for a bit.
